All gifts and grants are processed through the Fatherhood Support Network and are tax-deductible in the United States to the extent permitted by IRS regulations. You will receive a written acknowledgment for any gift of $250 or more, and an annual giving summary for recurring donors.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Gifts to The Fatherhood Project of Nevada are processed through our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, the Fatherhood Support Network, and are tax-deductible in the United States to the fullest extent allowed by law. You'll receive a written acknowledgment for any single gift of $250 or more.
How much of my gift goes directly to programs?
More than 85 cents of every dollar funds direct program costs — mentor training, workshop materials, childcare, meals, and wraparound support for Nevada fathers. The rest covers fiscal sponsor fees and the lean infrastructure that keeps programs running.
Can I set up a recurring monthly donation?
Absolutely. Recurring monthly gifts are the most powerful way to support TFP because they let us plan cohorts and mentor matches months in advance. You can start, pause, or change your monthly amount any time.
Does my employer match donations?
Many do. Thousands of US companies match employee charitable gifts dollar-for-dollar (and some double or triple). Check with your HR or giving portal — we'll provide any paperwork your employer needs to process the match.
Can I donate in honor or memory of someone?
Yes. Tribute and memorial gifts are welcome. Email info@thefatherhoodprojectnv.com with the honoree's name and a mailing address, and we'll send a personalized acknowledgment to the family.
Do you accept donor-advised fund (DAF) grants or stock gifts?
Yes. We accept grants from donor-advised funds and gifts of appreciated securities through the Fatherhood Support Network. Contact us for routing details, EIN, and brokerage instructions.
Can I donate in-kind items instead of cash?
Yes. We regularly need participant workbooks, transit passes, work boots, gift cards, and household essentials for fathers in stabilization. Reach out before sending items so we can confirm current needs.
Will my personal information be shared?
Never. We do not sell, trade, or share donor information with third parties. You can choose to be listed publicly on our donor wall or remain anonymous.
